Natural Language Processing

Natural language processing (NLP) is a subfield of linguistics, computer science, and artificial intelligence concerned with the interactions between computers and human language, in particular how to program computers to process and analyze large amounts of natural language data.

Two Impulse's Data Science and NLP team includes data scientists and engineers, applying knowledge emerging from academia with expertise and experience using bleeding edge techniques and technologies such as deep neural networks and topic modelling.

By leveraging these approaches, we are able to automatically derive meaning from documents and carry out a variety of tasks like detecting emotional content, extracting pertinent keywords and useful information such as names, places and key dates as well as automatically sorting and clustering documents by evaluating their semantic similarity.

IoT and Time Series Data

We provide solutions in IoT, in particular solutions related to time-series data.  Time series databases are not a new technology.  The first problems solved with this technology involved financial data, the volatility of stock trading, and systems built to solve trading challenges.

But financial data is not the only application of time series data. It’s only one among various applications across various industries. The fundamental conditions of computing have changed dramatically over the last decade. Everything has become compartmentalized. Monolithic mainframes have vanished, replaced by serverless servers, microservers, and containers.

Conversational AI

Chatbots and Conversational AI are not the same thing. A chatbot is - as the name indicates - a "chat robot" that by definition aims at automating conversations in a chat channel.
