Location: Évora or Lisbon (Portugal)

We are looking for a Solution Architect  to join our team in Évora or Lisbon (remote is possible), and working on a cool Pharmatech project with a key customer Pharma. We are a dynamic AI startup with clients in Switzerland, Germany, and the USA. We work with top-notch tech, use containers, cloud, and other cool stuff.

You bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Motivation to work with international teams and clients
  • 10+ years architecting enterprise services-based distributed systems and data intensive solutions
  • Experience designing for large scale, highly available, fault tolerant transactional and analytical systems in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation are a must.
  • Background or Familiarity with concepts of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is a plus
  • Firm knowledge of and experience with .NET Core 3.
  • Firm knowledge of and experience with React and Redux.
  • Preference given to candidates possessing knowledge and experience with Docker (or compatible container technology) and Kubernetes.
  • Implement automation, effective monitoring, and multi-study infrastructure.
  • Experience building solutions combining multiple AWS services, particularly Lambda, Kinesis, EMR, S3, ElasticSearch, Kibana, CloudFormation, AWS CloudTrail, AWS CloudWatch, AWS EventBridge, AWS DynamoDb, AWS RDS, ElasticBeanstalk, AWS EKS and AWS ECS and Serverless Application Model.
  • Deep familiarity with REST API semantics, including common authentication models like OAUTH2.
  • Strong relational database skills, both in designing schemas and coding and analyzing complex SQL queries.
  • Strong experience with continuous integration, deployment and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of security best practices.


  • Deliver high-quality secure software, compliant with Pharma standards (GCP)
  • Work with product and design teams to understand how requirements translate into architecture and solution
  • Develop product and solution architecture
  • Assure scalability and extendibility of software
  • Work with and mentor development teams
