AI/NLP Engineer

We are on the lookout for a talented AI/ NLP Engineer to join our team in Germany. You must reside in Germany (or be willing to relocate). 

You will have the option of working either in our office in Munich, or from the comfort of your home. Many of us work remotely. What counts is your motivation to leverage your skills to make a difference for our customers and the company.

As a AI/ NLP Engineer, you'll be expected to:

• Develop and maintain NLP pipelines and tools 
• Deploy pipelines and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Analyse and process large datasets to improve NLP models
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate NLP systems/methods into products
• Keep up with the latest NLP research and trends

We highly value individual experience and are not only interested in ticking boxes, nevertheless, there are some essential skills required to get the job done:

• Understanding of LLms as well common methods and underlying concepts in NLP
• Tools, libraries, and frameworks (e.g., spaCy, NLTK, common models and components from Hugging Face)
• Strong programming skills in Python or other relevant languages
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Keras or Tensorflow
• Experience with Linux
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with DevOps and MLOps methodologies
• Involvement in the open source community (via Github)
• Experience working on multilingual NLP projects
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of AI/ML security practices
• Fluency in German
