The Challenge
During the pandemic, reliable information changed daily and was scattered across sources, while misinformation spread quickly. Public hotlines were overwhelmed and citizens needed specific, trustworthy answers to their questions — around the clock and in their own language.
Our Solution
Two Impulse developed COSIBOT, a non-profit conversational AI to combat fake news and answer questions about COVID-19. Delivered in 4 languages (English, German, Spanish and Portuguese) and accessible through multiple channels — WhatsApp, SMS, Facebook Messenger, web and voice — it provided reliable, up-to-date information in a single place. Launched in March 2020, it stayed available 24/7 until December 2021, built on Rasa Open-Source.
